It's not every day that your weekend plans include the Presidential Inauguration.
Saturday morning over 20 Whitesboro High School students will be heading to Washington.
But, the inauguration isn't the only thing on their agenda.
The students and chaperones will be touring different historical sites like the Smithsonian museum and of course, The White House.
"It's the excitement being involved in a historical event, and something that they learn about in class.....and it just gives them an opportunity to experience history first hand," said Whitesboro High School teacher, Kevin Powers.
"It's a big part of history, it's very cool," said Senior, Taylor Fadrowski. "It's very cool to be able to say I was there and got to watch Obama get sworn in, it's a once in a lifetime opportunity and I think we're all really excited to be a part of it."
The plan to return back home Tuesday night.
