One area business will be soon getting a facelift, all while helping out a good cause.
The north Utica Applebee's is calling all sports fans and collectors.
The general manager says the memorabilia, photos and various items currently decorating the walls will be up for bid.
The money raised through the auction will help grant wishes to children in our community.
"We're going to take down all the decor that is on the walls for all these years that we have been opened and instead of throwing it out in the garbage they decided to do something good for the community and donate to make-a-wish. There won't be new things on the wall but the new wallpaper will be built in with new photos with the community and sports teams," said general manager Jerry Synrod.
Most of the items on the walls are labeled with a number. Interested customers just have to pick out what they want and let the bartender or manager on-duty know.
The last day to bid is Sunday, March 10th.
