Ted Cruz Visits Amarillo

AMARILLO -- Ted Cruz, Republican candidate for U.S. Senate, is visited
Amarillo today, to make his case for the Republican nomination five days
before early voting begins.
Cruz recently took the lead for the first time in two independent polls.
The
recent PPP poll shows Cruz leading Lt. Gov. David Dewhurst by five
points, while a Wenzel Strategies poll showed him leading by nine.
