Pennsylvania will have a new Auditor General, after Election Day, replacing Jack Wagner.

Democrat Eugene DePasquale is running for Wagner's seat.

DePasquale is in his 3rd term as state representative from York County.

He says that he wants to be a leader in Harrisburg by being a tough, fair, independent watchdog.

DePasquale wants to make sure the state stays on track financially.

Depasquale says he will also focus on the environment and drilling that's happening in Pennsylvania.
