Siena: Hochul And Collins In Dead Tie

By: WROC-TV
Updated: November 5, 2012
The latest Siena poll numbers show Democrat Kathy Hochul in a dead tie with her Republican challenger Chris Collins in the 27th congressional race.

Poll numbers show both candidates are tied among voters at 47 percent. Previous numbers showed Collins with a small lead over Hochul, but Siena researchers say independent voters in the area have shown a flip in favor of the first-time-incumbent Democrat.

The 27th district covers Genesee, Erie, Wyoming, Livingston, Ontario and Monroe counties.
