With D.J. Helmer and Jake Ross both scoring over 20 points for Port Byron on Tuesday in an opening round matchup against Herkimer, the Panthers defeated the Magicians in overtime 82-79.
Port Byron, the home team, got a very tough showing from the Magicians. By the time halftime came, the Panthers only had a 38-33 lead.
