Westmoreland 10, Oriskany 0

Brandon Jones threw a complete game 2 hitter as Westmoreland won a CSC III game 10-0.  Jones, Pawlakowski, and Brundage all had two hits for Westmoreland.  Oriskany travels to West Canada Valley on Thursday.

Dolgeville 5, Remsen 4

Remsen left the bases loaded three times during the game.  Patrick Taylor led the Rams with 3 hits in the defeat.  Gary Farquhar, Brian Harper, and Cody Bly each had 2 hits for Dolgeville.

Westmoreland 12, Oriskany 7 - 8 innings

 

Westmoreland jumped out to an early lead 1 to 0 in the top half of 4th inning on a RBI ground out by Julie Harrison, to score Ciara Nolan.  Oriskany came roaring back in the bottom half of the 4th inning scoring 7 runs, with 12 batters seeing the plate.  In the top half of the 5th inning, Westmo score 2 runs, on RBI singles by Allie Schremmer and Nolan.  In the top half of the 6th inning, Westmo score 4 runs to tie the game up.  Gabby Murphy got the inning going by hitting a triple in to left field to score courtesy runner Marissa Peitruch and Molly Peckham. Later in the inning, Murphy and Jenn Munn both scored on wild pitches to tie the game up.  In the eight inning, Westmo score 5 runs on 7 hits, with Munn hitting a double down the left field line, to scoring 2 runs, & Schremmer hitting a triple to plate Munn.  On the same play, Schremmer tried to stretch the triple into a home run, but was tag out at the plate by Oriskany's Alyssa Balfe in a collision.  Later in the inning, Nolan and katie Montgomey both scored on wild pitches. Munn led the team with 4 hits, and Cristina Rondenelli & Gabby Murphy had three hits apiece.  Oriskany's Taylor Robertello was the hitting force by collecting 3 hits.

Cristina Rondenelli,earned her second win in relief of Julie Harrison to start the bottom of the 5th, with Westmoreland losing 7 to 3.
