Week 7 high school football recap

Week Seven was rivalry week for several teams and we start things off with two of the biggest rivalries around.

First off, the big one, New Hartford vs. Whitesboro.  My Hometown Sports made this one their Friday night game of the week and for good reason.  You can catch another game recap here.

 The Oneida Dispatch has a recap (and video) of the Oneida-VVS matchup.  Upon further review, you can check out this game here and here as well.

West Canada Valley won a hardfought homecoming game under the lights and the Herkimer Telegram was there to catch all the action.

The Observer Dispatch has a recap of Proctor's victory over the 19th state ranked Corcoran team as well as recaps of all of Friday's games.

RFA got a hard fought victory in the rain and the Rome Sentinel was there to cover it.

Canastota shut down the Westmoreland Bulldogs and claimed a 21-0 victory and the Class C South crown.  Here's another take on the game.

The Ilion Golden Bombers finished off their regular season perfect with a 42-14 victory over Frankfort-Schuyler.

New York Mills won it's 6th straight game with a 41-12 win over Oriskany.

Watertown dropped Camden behind a big running game.

The combined Notre Dame/Rome Catholic won over Herkimer and will be heading to the playoffs, Herkimer will not.

Adirondack got the victory over Little Falls to close out it's regular season.

And in a matchup of two teams on opposite ends of the spectrum, the loss-less Dolgeville Blue Devils beat the win-less Mohawk Mohicans 54-16.
