A Herkimer County man is arrested for a massive marijuana grow-operation, growing more than 3,000 marijuana plants.

41-year-old Corey Leitz of Frankfort is charged with intentionally manufacturing marijuana by growing, cultivating and processing those plants.

Just yesterday, the Drug Enforcement Agency and New York State Police executed a federal search warrant.

They discovered over 3,200 marijuana plants growing in a barn located on McIntyre Road in Frankfort.

This represents one of the largest seizures of marijuana plants in the North District of New York.
