UC Hockey fans lined up to get tickets for ECAC west playoff

Area hockey fans are in for a treat! After a successful regular season the Utica College men's hockey team is hosting a playoff game at the Aud.
Tickets went on sale at ten this morning and they're going fast. Fans were waiting in line for about an hour all for the chance to cheer on their pioneers.
The men's hockey team is the number one seed in the playoffs after winning a share of the ECAC west regular season title. And their best season in program history has fans excited.
"I would love to see the pioneers wind up in first. I would love to see that. They have worked so hard. They are a very humble, hardworking team. This year I got season tickets because I didn't want to miss anything. It was $50 and it was worth every nickel," said UC hockey fan, Karen Hnat.
The UC men's hockey team plays on Saturday at 7 p.m. They will either play Manhattanville, Elmira or Nazareth in a semi-final match-up.
The UC women's hockey team is also hosting a playoff game. They square off against Potsdam on Friday at 7 p.m. in a first round match-up.
You have until 4 p.m. Friday to purchase tickets for the men's game.
