Bikers rode their motorcycles across Central New York in memory of fallen Utica Police Officer Thomas Lindsey over the weekend.

More than 200 riders came out to the 6th annual Brothers Forever Ride.

Officer Lindsey was shot and killed back in 2007 during a traffic stop patrolling the streets. Organizers of the event say this is one way to honor Officer Lindsey's legacy.

"Keeping that name and that memory alive keeps other officers safe. It lets us all know it is a dangerous job and bad things can happen anytime. All proceeds will go to the foundation. Tom was a giving person. The foundation is designed to give," explained Lt. Jim Watson.

The Thomas Lindsey Foundation is dedicated to mentor the youth and keep them off the streets.

A little over $10,000 were raised this weekend.
