Joe sits down with Frank Tomaino, local historian. They discuss the later Mother Marianne Cope who was beatified by Pope Benedict XVI in 2005. On February 18, 2012, Pope Benedict XVIofficially announced at Saint Peter's Basilica that Cope will be canonized on October 21, 2012.
They also discuss that October 20 at 1:00PM will be the"Old Utica" 2013 calendar debut. Tomaino, and Historical Society webmaster, Carl Saporito, will debut the society's new 2013 'Old Utica' calendar. Copies will be available for sale through the OCHS bookstore.
