Some area elementary students got to experience 'the biggest event for the smallest science' this afternoon.

We're talking about nanoscience and Mohawk Valley Community College held a NanoDay for elementary students. Coordinators say exploring hands-on science with young children is the best way to entertain and educate our future scholars.

"They're curious at this point. And there's a lot of things you can look at, a lot of things you can observe in nature, and if it cause people to ask questions and say why can that happen or gee could I do this with it, I think that's a positive thing," says Bob Decker, MVCC Engineering Technology Director.

And if that looked interesting to you, NanoDay will continue tomorrow morning from 9am to 1pm in the Information Technology Building Lobby at the MVCC Utica campus.
