America's Greatest Heart Run and Walk Kick-Off

Thousands are expected to turn out to help raise money and awareness for the 39th annual Heart Run and Walk. Tonight the American Heart Association held its kick-off event. Last year's event had nearly 9-thousand participants and raised over a million dollars. In 38 years the Heart Run and Walk has helped raise more than $20 million. One participant from last year's walk tells Eyewitness News she walks for her little brother.
Lindsey Hurlbut says, "I know he survived something that not everyone does and not everyone has this, he's very special for this."
