Jennifer Lee
Jennifer Lee joined WUTR/WPNY/WFXV as a Multimedia Journalist in August 2011. She is eager and honored to be apart of the news team and becoming the voice for the Central New York community.
Prior to coming to Utica, Jennifer spent her college years in the City of Brotherly Love in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. She graduated from Temple University with a degree in Broadcast Journalism. At Temple, she was heavily involved with the community and served as a main anchor/ reporter for the university’s student-run television station, Temple Update. Here, she closely followed the Pennsylvania’s budget plan for cuts in education funding. She was able to interview the President of Temple as well as covered student rallies at City Hall.
Jennifer also took advantage of living in a big city and was an intern for two major news stations in Philadelphia throughout her college career. She is apart of the Asian American Journalist Association as well as the journalism honor society, Kappa Tau Alpha.
When Jennifer isn’t working, she loves to spend time with her family and friends and watch all the latest box-office movie hits. You can reach her at jlee@wutr.tv.
