Stephen Bond
Born and raised in the Central New York area, Stephen is excited to launch his career at home as a multimedia journalist at WUTR. He earned a bachelor’s degree from the Park School of Communications at Ithaca College and an associate’s degree from the Electronic Media Communications department at Onondaga Community College.
While at OCC Stephen created the sports department for the student run radio station, SuperMix. He served as sports director, program director and the voice of the Lazers. During his time at Ithaca College Stephen anchored the sports segment for the award winning NewsWatch 16. The highlight of his college career was producing, directing and writing The Boys of Oswego, a documentary on the relationship between the residents of a small college town and the team that inspires them. While honing his television skills Stephen was also heard on the syndicated sports talk show Spadora on Sports.
When not working Stephen can be found on the links, at the rink or on the slopes.
