Little Falls Hospital is getting some financial help in developing the Bassett Heart Care Institute.
A $100,000 was awarded to the hospital by The Community Foundation.
The President and CEO of Little Falls Hospital says the total project is going to cost about $1 million.
The CEO says there's a need and demand for things such as cardiovascular services.
"This really is a continued recognition between the affiliation of Bassett Healthcare Network and Little Falls Hospital. We developed that affiliation in 2006 and we've been trying to right size the health care system in this area," said Mike Ogden, President and CEO.
The project is expected to be completed by March.
