The search for the new Herkimer Central School District Superintendent is one step closer tonight. There are now 2 finalists for the position:
Craig Ferretti, a principal in the Camden Central School District and
Robert Miller, a superintendent in the Cherry Valley-Springfield Central
School District.
Tonight their was a community forum for area residents to find out more about the candidates.
"This is an important piece for the Board of Education. And this is an opportunity for the community to meet the candidates, ask questions, and we have response forms for everyone to fill out," says Mark Vivacqua, Herkimer BOCES District Superintendent & search consultant.
A committee of community members helped interview the candidates, and each candidate was interviewed for about an hour. The Herkimer Board of Education will have final interviews during a meeting tomorrow night.
