The American Red Cross of the Mohawk Valley says its getting an extreme makeover just in time for the St. Patrick's Day parade.

The Carbone Auto Group has volunteered to restore the Red Cross Emergency Response Vehicle or "ERV." The "ERV" was put into service in honor of Mr. Carbone's late friend and former Red Cross Chapter Executive Michael Cianfrocco 12 years ago, and it continues to serve the Mohawk Valley.

"It's really important that we keep up this vehicle, when you have a personal emergency this vehicle comes and it provides comfort. And the Carbone Auto Group has been significant in trying to upkeep, they also did the mechanical, so it would be up and ready to serve the community and be ready for the parade and be looking beautiful for everyone," says Jennifer Balog, American Red Cross of the Mohawk Valley.

The Carbone Auto Group has also pledged $5,000 dollars to sponsor the Michael Cianfrocco Humanitarian of the Year Award, which will take place in June.
