The death of Craig Ingersoll, the man who killed Jennifer Bennett back in 2007, has brought some closure for Bennett's mother.
Ingersoll was found dead in his prison cell on Tuesday night.
Eyewitness News visit with Bennett's mother to get her reaction after the initial shock of Ingersoll's death passed.
She says they may never know why Ingersoll killed her daughter or himself.
"I was in shock at first, maybe the guilt took him over, he was in a really tough prison but you know he needed to be there. He hurt my daughter, he took her life and he can never hurt anyone else," said Denise Saunders.
