There's a new entertainment option coming to Rome. LAN Mob Gaming and
Educational Center will offer PC and console gaming for people of all
ages to play video games. The company will also run programs focused on
mathematics tutoring. The founder says it's also a way to combine
education and entertainment under one roof.
"There's not a lot of entertainment options here besides a movie theatre and bowling alley, that's about it. We're hoping to offer a new entertainment option to the city and area. And also there's going to be an educational center. People can come in and learn mathematics, K through12, everything up through calculus," says Aaron Wade, founder of LAN Mob Gaming and Educational Center.
LAN Mob will be opening on Black River Boulevard in Rome in late spring. But it's holding a campaign to raise money in start-up gap funding all this month.
