How would you like to get some cash for gently used clothing that you no longer want?

Two Central New Yorkers have opened up "Plato's Closet," a recycling re-sale store.

The store is located on Seneca Turnpike in New Hartford in the Crossroads Plaza.

Right now, the store is just open to sell your used clothing and merchandise.

You can get cash on the spot and no appointment is needed.

Once there's enough inventory to fill the story, the owners plan to have a grand opening for shoppers to buy.

"A lot of people haven't heard of it and there's also been a lot of people that have heard of it but driving to Syracuse and driving to Albany is kind of a big travel for people in the Utica area, so now it brings something to in the area. It allows families to come in and get cool stuff at a really low price," said Co-Owner, Jeremy Godfrey.

Plato's closet is open seven days a week and employees just ask that your clothes be freshly washed before coming in.
