Barbershop Quartet Delivers Singing Valentines

The day of love is upon us; that's Valentine's Day of course. While
people are buying gifts for loved ones, the Mohawk Valley chapter of
Barbershop Harmony Society says they have the ultimate gift for your
sweetheart. If you can't find the right way to say "I Love You," members
of the barbershop quartet say they can do it for you.
Who are these 4 men dressed in red vests? Well, they're members of a barbershop quartet and this Valentine's Day, they have one mission:
"Somebody that you know and love have asked us to deliver a singing valentine for you," says Brian Sagestano, Barbershop Quartet member to a singing valentine recipient.
"Every woman would love to be sung to on Valentine's Day," says Hennie Bosman, "Singing Valentine" sender.
"It is a little embarrassing but definitely shows your significant other cares about you," says Annabel Prouty, "Singing Valentine" recipient.
The barbershop quartet says the gift of song beats any Valentine's Day gift.
"It's not a chocolate. It's definitely different. It's something different for that person to have and I think its well worth having us come out and do it for them," says Chuck Harter, barbershop quartet member.
And this Valentine's Day, they'll deliver 50 to 100 "Singing Valentines." They say they enjoy every one.
"It's the great reaction you get from people, it seems like every time we go into a new place for a new person, they love to hear us, they love to see us," says Sagestano.
"They know where it's coming from and I'm sure they go home and kiss their honey hello and thank you very much," says Harter.
"It makes my day and it gives me pleasure to know that I've made someone else's day a lot better," says Chaz Zelows, barbershop quartet member.
And it's not too late to get your loved one a "Singing Valentine." The barbershop quartet says they'll be available on Valentine's Day and even the day after. Your sweetheart will receive two songs, a card and flower, at a price starting at $40.
