Graduation is just around the corner for some college students, but that
doesn't mean the hard work is over. With the pride in graduating also
comes the fear of job hunting. SUNYIT held its annual Job and Graduate
School Fair this afternoon. Coordinators and students agree the job
search is all about meeting people.
"1, obviously professional opportunities and 2, I also encourage students to attend career fair for networking opportunities," says Sim Covington Jr., SUNYIT Director of Career Services.
"I think the best way to find a position in today's economy is really to network and help get your foot in the door at a company," says Emaleia Levey, SUNYIT graduate student.
And more than 50 businesses and employers were at the career fair.
